With the new iPhone 4S now on the shelves and a host of iPhone deals being available in the shops, the question we must ask is; if you already have the iPhone 4, should you upgrade to an iPhone 4S?
For a start the processor has been upgraded to a dual core which will result in a faster speed and sleeker and more efficient look when browsing and using apps. The display on the new iPhone 4S is still exactly the same as before however it does come with a much better camera. The camera has always been a bit of a sticking point with iPhone users however the 4S model now has a whooping 8 mega pixel camera with flash meaning that you will be able to take pictures just like you would on an actual digital camera. Moreover, it can record in proper 1080p HD video (30 fps) unlike the normal iPhone 4 which could only record at 720p.
Its cell internet has also been upgraded. While both still have the same Wi-Fi chip onboard, the iPhone 4S now comes with Hybrid GSM / CDMA as opposed to the normal, and slower, GSM and HSPA that came equipped with its predecessor. Aside from these differences everything else is pretty much as is. The dimensions have been slightly altered (the old iPhone 4 is a little bit lighter) however everything else onboard remains the same. That being said, when you look at the changes (especially to the processor and the camera) you can see how it really is an extensive upgrade. With the good iPhone deals that are available right now, not only will you be getting an upgraded and newest version of the popular mobile phone; but you are also getting a full featured and powerful multimedia device that is suitable for all walks of life.
